SightlyModern websites for NZ small businesses

Your business has changed. Has your website?

We get to know your business, what makes it different and what your customers love about it. Then we turn that into a website that represents you properly. And if you have never had a website at all, that is a good time too.

Start here

Let's talk about your website.

A few details is enough. We'll open a ready-to-send email so you can add anything else before it goes.

Or email hello@sightly.co.nz directly

01Then and now

Your website is out of date.

Businesses move. Better photos, more reviews, new customers. The website often stays where it was left.

Illustrative only. A site from the early 2000s was built for a desktop. Most people now look on a phone.

Or maybe you have never built one at all, because it sounds difficult and complicated, and you would rather just do the work. We will help you get it sorted so you can get back to running the business.

02What we build

Websites.

Modern websites designed around your business, your customers and what you actually need. That is the core of what we do, and it is where nearly every project starts. We talk it through with you before anything is built, so the site matches the work you already do.

Useful extras, if you want them

  • Online payments
  • Bookings
  • After-hours AI phone assistance
  • A simple enquiry form
  • Professional photos of the shop front and the people behind the business

We come to you for the photos, so we can personalise the website. None of these extras are required.

03Our approach

Tell us what makes your business special.

Let's have a chat and get to know your business. Then we showcase what you really represent to the people you want to reach.

We want to know the good stuff about your business.

Not a checklist. The pieces that make someone trust you, remember you, and get in touch.

  • Stories

How you started, why you do it this way, and what people say when they find you.

  • Reviews

The Google reviews and thank-you messages sitting in inboxes and on your phone.

  • Photos + people

The work, the shop front, and the faces customers will actually deal with.

And often

  • Your work
  • Products
  • Services
  • Before + afters

Give people a reason to choose you.

Most businesses already have proof that they are good at what they do. It just doesn't have anywhere to live, and your website should be that place.

04How we work

Relaxed and clear.

Let's have a conversation. We'll take care of the hard work from there.

Most websites take around 10 days or less, including revisions. We'll keep you in the loop. We've got the website.

  1. 01

    Talk

We learn your business. What you do, who it's for, what makes it different, and what you'd like more of.

  2. 02

    Plan

We map the pages, content, photos and anything the site needs to do. Clear plan, no surprises.

  3. 03

    Build

We design and build it, and show you as it takes shape so you can steer along the way.

  4. 04

    Launch

We test everything, sort the domain and hosting, handle old redirects where needed, and get it live.

After launch, we can help you understand what the site is doing and what to do about it. That is optional. We pick it up once you are live, if you want it.

05After launch

Systems live

Then the website has to earn its keep.

A website should help people find you, make it easy to get in touch, and give you useful information about what visitors are doing. Sometimes advertising helps bring more of the right attention.

Marketing

How about we give marketing a crack?

If you have room for more work, a new website is a good moment to try advertising. You have something worth showing off, so the spend has somewhere useful to land. We can start small and grow it if it is working.

  • Google Ads
  • A landing page that matches the ad
  • Tracking, so you can see what came back

Search

Get found.

We set up the structure, titles and technical basics Google looks for, so the site is ready to be found. Results depend on the market, the content and a bit of time.

  • Sensible page structure
  • Clear headings and content
  • Titles, descriptions and metadata
  • Fast loading and mobile-friendly pages

Data

Show us the numbers.

Depending on the setup, the site can show what people look at and how many of those visits turn into leads:

  • How long they spend on a page
  • What people click
  • How many browsers turn into leads

06Worth knowing

Things you probably didn't think about when you built your website.

And if you have not built one yet, even better. We will take care of this stuff so you can keep running the business.

  • Credibility01

    First impressions

Studies of web credibility have found that visual design, how information is organised, usefulness, ease of use, evidence of a real organisation and up-to-date content all influence whether people believe a website.

  • Every screen02

    Mobile

Google indexes the mobile version of your pages, so a modern website has to work properly on phones, tablets and desktops.

  • Speed03

    Performance

Google's page experience guidance covers Core Web Vitals (how fast a page loads, how quickly it responds and how stable it is while loading), along with HTTPS and mobile usability.

  • Moving house04

    Migrations

Replacing an old website needs care. Old web addresses that people and Google already know should be mapped to their new equivalents with permanent redirects, so nothing gets lost in the move.

  • Feedback05

    Analytics

A website can tell you how visitors find it and what they do once they arrive. Set up properly, it quietly answers questions you'd otherwise have to guess at.

We'll take care of the complicated stuff. You're busy running a business.

07The straightforward part

Your website is yours.

We work out what your business actually needs, talk it through with you, and keep the ongoing side simple.

Ownership

Built for the long term.

The website we build is yours. You own it, you keep access to it, and it stays yours for as long as you want it. Think in terms of ten years, not twelve months. Future development work is quoted as and when you need it.

Domain + hosting

Keep your website online for $49 a year.

We will sort out your domain and hosting and take care of the technical setup. That is the ongoing cost of keeping your website online, subject to the final setup we agree on together.

Updates

Two free information updates every year.

Small changes, like a new blurb, a staff photo, or a couple of sentences about a service, are included. Email us what you want updated and we will sort it.

Need a new page, new function or something bigger? We'll quote it before we start.

As you grow

Start with what you need. Add more when you need it.

Payments, bookings, after-hours AI phone assistance, extra pages, a portal. We add those when they become useful.

08Meet the co-founders

Two people who like building useful things.

Sightly is Paul and Parry, two hardworking New Zealanders based in Auckland. They started Sightly in 2026 because they like the point where technology, design and business turn into something people actually use.

09Need more?

Most people just need a website. We can build more when you do.

Start with the site. If your business later needs systems around it, that is separate work, quoted when you actually need it.

How it can connect

  1. Website
  2. Data
  3. Automation
  4. Action
  • Custom apps

An app designed around how your business actually works.

  • Automation

Move information between forms, emails, spreadsheets, CRMs and the tools you already use.

  • AI call taker

Capture enquiries after hours, answer common questions and collect useful lead information.

  • Lead capture

Turn website visitors into structured enquiries instead of just another email.

  • Automatic follow-up

Someone fills out a form, the right person gets notified, the customer gets a useful response, and the enquiry moves to the next step.

  • Quotes / estimates

People give you the right information, and the system helps prepare the quote.

  • Customer portals

Customers log in to view bookings, jobs, documents, invoices or progress.

  • Internal tools

Something for the team that fits your actual workflow.

  • Bookings + payments

Online booking and payment where it suits the business, not a one-size-fits-all product forced onto you.

  • Integrations

Connect the website to software you already rely on.

Still thinking?

Ready when you are. Tell us about the business.
